Another iconic independent department store choses Active Washrooms as its service provider
We are delighted to announce the commencement of our washroom services contract with one of East Anglia’s leading independent department stores.
The contract encompasses a wide range of washroom services to include Sanitary Disposal, Nappy Waste collection, Air Freshening & Logo Matting.
The business was Established in 1914 and in 1953 the business passed down to the next generation of family management Hugh. Hugh’s daughter Rosemary and son-in-law John joined the business in 1955. During this time many buildings were bought as the business continued to expand.
In 1967 the current glass fronted shop was built on the site of the original cottage and shop and the now well established business offered a wide range of products and services.
In recent time major construction works have provided new offices and stockrooms and enabled expansion of the toy and housewares departments.
Together with a wide range of toys and housewares, the store also offers lingerie, menswear, beds and bedding, a restaurant and a substantial china and gift department, offering gifts and collectables to suit every occasion.
