It is vital that out of date or unwanted controlled drugs are never disposed of via the sewage system or put in a pharmaceutical bin. Instead they must be denatured before being destroyed so that they cannot be retrieved, recovered or reused.
Active Washrooms provides a range of drug destruction kits that effectively denature controlled drugs – available as a 250ml or 500ml pre-charged container. Once your controlled drugs have been denatured, we can arrange to transport them securely to our treatment facility for disposal.
